Excel 2007 was launched with new and improved features. The capacity to stores data in worksheet also increased to 1 million rows and 65K columns. The major improvement includes : The Ribbon system, Larger spreadsheets, Improved formula and function features, Enhanced sorting and filtering, Themes and styles, conditional formatting, Tables, new charting tools, updated pivot tables etc. Microsoft also changed the file extension since this version (.xls to .xlsx) to use these latest features.
Microsoft Excel users are everywhere and it is wonder that many of users are still using traditional excel 2007. When I asked few of them the common reply was when i install the latest excel i need to take training.
